does anyone have any ideas why i cant get the engine to kick over? everything was rebuilt, got a new dist this morning and the bitch still wont spark.....yes the timing is correct...all she does is rotate and i know its gettin fuel cause its spittin out the header

OK sounds like the igniter...no spark, no codes.
I this a first time install, I mean, was there already a ZC in the Civic or is this a swap issue?

ok im gettin spark for sure cause the engine will fire over but shuts off lmost immediately....i am gettin a code for the injectors so im gonna replace them cause they're filthy anyways.....by the way this is a swap issue but i had it idling a month ago before i had the head done.....

Make sure your getting fire...keep aware though, you mentioned fuel fumes, push the car outdoors if not aleady. Then take a spare spark plug that you don't mind trashing, and placing it in a plug wires and laying it on the valve cover - watch for spark.
The only thing I can think of is your injector resistor might be bad, or the Fuel Main Relay...the fuel pump relay is inside it.
So you had headwork done between now and then right? You might want to try changing those injectors or balancing them. But it sounds to me like something more electrical.
